Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver
Manufactured in 1899. The butt of the left grip panel is hand marked "JM", and the right grip panel has five notches cut into the butt. Per consignor: This gun with its filed off front sight for snag-free draw was owned by a southeast Arizona cattle woman who ran the ranch while her husband was off chasing Pancho Villa in Mexico, five filed notches in grip testify to the gun's service, and the grip initials "JM" are for Morel.
