Description:
Manufactured 1885. "D.F.C." on barrel and frame, "G" on trigger guard and back strap, "47" engraved at the top of the back strap. Faint cartouches and "1885" on the grip. The replacement cylinder is renumbered to match. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grip not listed) as well as delivery to the U.S. government inspector at the Colt plant on 3 December 1885 in a shipment of 150 guns.
