World War II Japanese Surrender Nagoya Arsenal Type 14 Nambu Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster and Accessories

"7.2" dated (February 1932). Includes a binder containing a consignor supplied document stating, "This gun was obtained at the surrender of Iki-Shima. It was surrendered by the Japanese Major General Koji Chijiwa to Lt. Col. Raymond B. Carleton of the 2D Cavalry Brigade... His step-grandson, Bill Fosky owned the gun until 1995...", bring back paper listing a Japanese pistol (no serial number or model listed), small Japanese flag, two photographs of Lt. Col. Carleton with Japanese officers at the surrender, and a citation indicating Raymond B. Carleton was awarded the Legion of Merit with a description of his heroic act while under live fire during the Los Negros Island campaign between March 2-28, 1944. Also includes leather clamshell holster and five rounds of 8mm Nambu ammunition.
