The included factory letter confirms the barrel length, finish, and grips when it was shipped on January 1, 1918 and delivered to Shapleigh Hardware Co. of St. Louis, MO. "E. F. SCHNEDAREK - 1944" marked on the backstrap. Matching serial number on the barrel, cylinder, and butt. With a non-matching factory box.
