Factory letter states revolver was shipped to J.F. Schmelzer & Sons Arms Co. of Kansas City, Missouri, on August 17, 1892 with 4 3/4 inch barrel in .45 caliber, blue finish, and type of stocks not listed. This was a 10 gun shipment.

Very good overall as refinished, with cylinder mostly a brown patina, pitting/spotting, oversized replacement grips. Mechanically fine.
