Built circa 1876 according to Nigel Brown's "British Gunmakers Volume One: London". The included Norman R. Blank Collection notes and bill of sale indicating the gun was purchased from Joe Bickston of All American Arms, Hollywood, California, on April 1, 1957, as well as stating that the rifle was "probably" from the William Keith Neal Collection.
