Manufactured in 1953. Fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and a folding two leaf rear sight. The barrel is marked on the left with the Winchester address, model, and caliber markings. "WP" proofs are stamped on the barrel and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked on the left with the Winchester trademark and on the right with the serial number on the receiver ring. The floorplate is marked "-SUPER GRADE -". Mounted in a multipoint checkered, straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend cap, Monte Carlo comb, sling loops, and a red rubber recoil pad.
