The accompanying factory letter confirms the 2 inch barrel in .38 caliber and parkerized finish, with the type of stocks unlisted. The letter also states the revolver was shipped to Port Transportation Officer, San Francisco Port of Embarkation, Oakland, California, on March 20, 1943. As part of a 1,000 pistol shipment.
