Manufactured in 1978, this rifle displays floral scroll engraving on a matted background on the barrel, action and floorplate with a gold inlaid ram on the floorplate. The action is topped with a Weatherby Premier 3-9x40 scope. Mounted in a 7A walnut stock with Weatherby C inlays, number 16 carving with a brass plate inscribed "2-10-78" on the underside of the forend, contrasting forend tip and grip cap, and Weatherby ventilated recoil pad. Included with the rifle is a Weatherby invoice listing the rifle in its current configuration (sans scope) and states that it was picked up by the customer who originally ordered it on February 13, 1978.
