Built with blued steel barrels featuring a ramped beaded blade front sight with flip-up moon bead, three leaf (one standing, two folding) rear sight graduated 50, 50, and 100 yards on the rear quarter rib which also shows provisions to a mount scope, front sling stud on the under rib, single band of engraving at the breech, 2005 dated German proofs, and chambers with a single extractor. The barrels are fitted to a nitride finished sideplated boxlock action which displays floral scroll engraving on all sides with "KRIEGHOFF" banners on either sideplate and "KRIEGHOFF/CLASSIC" marked on the underside. The rifle features dual triggers with articulated front and Krieghoff's manual cocking piece on the tang. The rifle is fitted with a beautiful highly figured and multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend and a pistol grip stock with engraved nitride finished grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, rear sling stud, and a leather covered recoil pad. Included is an extra set of matching numbered 28 inch 20 gauge barrels with its own forend, 3 inch chambers, and choke constrictions of .018/.028 inches. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and nitride finishes with minor handling evidence, a few minor scratches on the wood, some light wear to the recoil pad, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel set is also excellent.
