Manufactured in 1965, per the Ithaca factory serial number records. "D.S. POLICE SPECIAL" along with the model, gauge and Ithaca address marked on the left of the barrel, "TPD" marking added on the right of the receiver (the P is double stamped, the D is backwards), and inventory number "82" carved on the bottom surface of the pistol grip. Consignor notes state this shotgun was formerly the property of the Tampa Police Department. 2 3/4" chamber, choke measures modified, raised bead front sight and notch rear sight (absent elevator piece), sling swivels, and a trench six-hole heat shield/bayonet lug adapter assembly for use with an M1917 bayonet (not included).

Very fine, retains 90% plus original parkerized finish with a few scuffs and some minor surface freckling. Wood is excellent with a few light scratches. Mechanically excellent.
