This model was introduced in 1949 and manufactured until 1957 with about 63,000 being sold. This rifle does not have the top of the receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts. It features a hooded front ramp sight and adjustable rear fold down sight, detachable box magazine, one piece checkered forearm and pistol-grip stock with a checkered metal buttplate and sling swivel studs.
