The Model 63 took the place of the 1903 in 1933 in an attempt by Winchester to solve the problem of having to use a special .22 caliber cartridge in the gun to operate the blowback system. Many collectors and shooters considered the Model 63 to be the best rimfire semi-auto rifle ever produced. This rifle was manufactured in 1957 and features a dovetail front sight and adjustable rear sight. The rare 20 inch barrel is marked "MODEL 63 .22 LONG RIFLE / SUPER SPEED & SUPER-X". Plain pistol grip stock and forearm with a metal forend cap and checkered steel butt plate with tubular magazine through the buttstock.

Near new. 99.8% original blue finish remains. The stock has a few scratches and dings otherwise excellent plus.
