PATENT/ No 1294" on the upper left. The frame is stamped with a "crown/V" proof on the water table, with side mounted safety switch with inlaid gold "SAFE" marking and scroll engraving. Checkered pistol grip stock, with horn tip, engraved grip cap, ebony inlay in the comb, fancy grain and lightly engraved buttplate.
