Winchester Model 1906 Expert Slide Action Rifle

Manufactured in 1919. Patridge blade front sight and screw adjustable rear sight on blued barrel with standard address, patent, and caliber markings. Takedown nickeled action with matching numbers. Smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with a black checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate.

ConditionFine, with a trace of the original blue finish on the barrel and magazine, and 80% of the original nickel on the frame. The barrel and magazine show a mixed brown and gray patina, with blue in the protected areas and scattered handling marks. Mild flaking has begun on the frame, with an unpolished original dark patina on the exposed metal and some light scratches. Stock is very good, with some varnish loss, pressure dents and scratches, concentrated on the right side of the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
