Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle

Manufactured in 1908. Folding globe front sight with buckhorn rear sight and tang mounted peep sight. The top of the barrel is marked "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CONN." with 1892 as the last patent date and "22 LONG" at the breech. Smooth pistol grip stock with 12-groove forearm and crescent buttplate.

ConditionVery fine. 75% original blue finish remains on the barrel thinning along the high edge with some over all collector type handling marks. The receiver retains 70% original blue finish thinning to a mottled gray on exposed areas and edges with only very light handling marks. The reoiled wood is fine. Mechanically excellent.
