Built on a Springfield Model 1873 receiver (c. 1873-1877) with an unmarked lock plate, an unmarked barrel chambered in .50-70 caliber and a half stock.

ConditionVery good as a period configured buffalo rifle with the barrel retaining much of the refinished brown, much of the original blue on the trigger guard, mixed brown and gray patina on other surfaces, some scattered pitting, moderate wear on wood. Extractor does not function, otherwise action functions properly.
