Manufactured in 1878-1881. Heavy barrel has the caliber designation 45 2/10 for .45-70 and the famed Denver, Colorado, retailer J.P. Lower marking.

Very good overall as a survivor of the frontier with refinished barrel and lever, receiver retains traces of silvered out original case colors, sanded wood with a few cracks. Mechanically excellent.
