Fine Frank Wesson Two Trigger Tip Up Single Shot .22 Rifle Serial Number 100

Introduced in 1859 and discontinued in 1888. Frame with removable side plate. German silver blade front and notch rear sights on the barrel marked "FRANK WESSON WORCESTER MASS. / PATENTED MAY 31, 1870" between the rear sight and mounting cutout near the breech. Blue with nickel finished frame and buttplate. Smooth straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

ConditionFine. The barrel retains streaks of original blue finish with heavier concentrations of finish in the protected areas with the balance a mottled gray patina along with some mild spotting. The frame and buttplate retain 95% unpolished original nickel finish with some very minor flaking. There are a couple hairline cracks near the upper tang, otherwise the stock is fine with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
