Unmarked Silver Inlaid European Flintlock Coach Gun

Produced with a flared muzzle, featuring fine scroll pattern inlaid silver decoration at the muzzle, breech and in a band along the top of the weapon. Floral and scroll engraving is present on the lock plate and hammer, with a serrated frizzen and fenced flash pan. Carved hardwood stock, with a checkered wrist, raised scroll and floral designs, an iron ramrod, sling swivels, and silver wire accent inlays on the butt. Fitted with a flat buttplate, which is silver accented in the same style as the barrel. Most likely produced for the Mediterranean Trade for a Chieftain or other person of higher social standing.

ConditionVery good, showing a mixed brown and gray patina on the barrel and lock, with mild spotting and handling marks. The stock is good, with a few small cracks and some light chips. Some screws are loose, otherwise mechanically good.
