Fine Unmarked Percussion Knife Pistol

The German silver barrel is unmarked. The pistol is equipped with 3 1/4 inch spear point and 1 3/4 inch unique semi-curved single edge folding blades. The knives and pistol are enclosed in a German silver case with smooth horn scale panels riveted to the sides. It has a folding lid compartment for caps in the back strap and provisions for tools on the sides of the frame at the butt (a pick and tweezers). Overall the pistol most resembles an Unwn Rodgers knife pistol.

ConditionVery fine. The fine blade are both bull dimension with much of the original polish intact. The iron components have a mottled gray patina showing some pin point pitting on the blades. The scales are very fine with some very minor handling marks. The horn has a very attractive grain pattern. Mechanically fine.
