A) Pre-64 Winchester Model 88 Lever Action Rifle
Manufactured in 1961. Hooded beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable flip up rear sight. The top and left rear of the receiver are tapped for scope mounts and a rear sight. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut pistol grip stock with steel grip cap and checkered plastic buttplate.
Excellent, 99% original blue finish remaining with only some minor wear and handling marks. The stock is also excellent with scattered light handling marks. Mechanically fine.
B) Winchester Model 88 Lever Action Carbine in 243 Win Caliber
Manufactured in 1969. Has a hooded beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable flip up rear sight. The receiver is tapped for scope mounts and also for a rear peep sight. Mounted on a smooth walnut pistol grip stock with a steel grip cap and a checkered plastic buttplate.
Excellent, 98% original blue finish remains with some muzzle and high edge wear. The stock is also excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
