Manufactured in 1896. Marble blade front sight with elevation adjustable rear sight. The top of the barrel has the two line address and "38-55" at the breech. The upper tang has the three line model/trade mark information with the serial number on the underside of the frame. Full length magazine, smooth forearm and straight grip stock and crescent buttplate.
