The left rear of the barrel is marked with the standard model, Winchester Trade Mark, Nickel Steel and caliber designation, the Winchester oval proof is marked on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech and the serial number on the bottom of the receiver. Marble beaded blade front and folding ladder rear sights, special order 2/3 length magazine and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip shotgun style buttstock with a checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate.
