The Winchester oval proof is marked on top of the barrel and on the upper left side of the receiver at the breech. The Winchester two-line address/patent dates on the left side of the receiver, the three-line model, maker, trade mark information on the upper tang and the serial number on the lower tang. Lyman front blade sight and adjustable buck horn sporting rear sight. All blue finish and mounted with a smooth walnut Schnabel forearm with ebony insert and straight grip stock with a steel crescent buttplate and sling swivels. There is a round brown sticker with the silver number "573" on the stock toe.
