Manufactured in 1920, this rifle features a dovetail front blade sight and elevator rear sight. It is marked "MODEL 92/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT OFF & FGN." on the tang and "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED OCTOBER 14, 1884." on the barrel. Winchester proofmarks are on top of the barrel and receiver. It has a full magazine and smooth forearm with a metal forend cap and straight grip stock with a metal crescent buttplate.

Very fine as partially refinished (wood). The rifle retains 90% of the original finish with various minor scratches, marks, and finish wear on the edges and on the frame. There is some brown patina on some of the exposed surfaces with the wear on the bottom of the frame bright. The refinished wood is fine with some minor scratches, scrapes, and dings.The left side of the wrist has evidence of staining to hide repair. Mechanically excellent.
