Manufactured in 1908. The left rear of the barrel is marked with the caliber designation with the address and patent date in two lines between the barrel band and the rear sight. The top of the barrel and receiver are marked with the Winchester oval proof at the breech. The upper tang is marked "MODEL 1892/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK" and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It features a blade front sight on a stud with an adjustable buck horn rear sight, full length magazine, saddle ring on the left side rear of the receiver, and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate.
