Just over 2,000 Model 70 rifles were manufactured in this variation between 1969 and 1971. It features a ramped and hooded front sight, adjustable Williams rear sight, post 1964 type push feed action with a jeweled bolt and recoil cross pin, and a Mannlicher checkered Monte Carlo stock with sling swivels and a rubber rifle butt pad with white spacer.
