A) Pre-World War II Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Carbine

Manufactured in 1928. Pinned Marble blade front sight, carbine type rear sight and full magazine. The left rear side of the barrel has the Winchester legend including "30 W.C.F." with the factory proof stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang has the three line mode/trademark information. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate.

ConditionVery good. The barrel and magazine retain 40% of the original blue finish with brown speckling. The receiver retains traces of the original blue finish with some scattered scratches and mottled to a smooth brown patina. The markings are clear. The wood is good with scattered scratches, dings and pressure dents and a 3/4 inch sliver absent the right side of the stock near the upper tang. Mechanically fine.

B) Special Order Pre-World War II Winchester Model 94 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine

Manufactured in 1925. This carbine has a pinned King blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sporting folding leaf sight. The barrel is marked "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO./NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED AUGUST 21 1894" ahead of the rear sight. "-NICKEL STEEL BARREL-/ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER" and .32 W.S. are marked under the rear sight. Winchester factory oval proofs are on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang is marked "-MODEL 94/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. & FGN. The serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. Blue finish with a half magazine and a saddle ring with stud. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with smooth steel modified shotgun buttplate.

ConditionVery good. The barrel and magazine retain 70% of the original blue finish with some scattered scratches and muzzle wear. The receiver retains traces of the original blue finish with some scratches and mottling to a smooth brown patina. The markings are clear. The wood is good with scattered scratches, dings and pressure dents with two hairline cracks on both sides of the stock near the receiver. Mechanically fine.
