Manufactured in 1914, this Winchester Model 1886 takedown rifle has the following special features: half magazine tube, sling eyelets and shotgun buttplate. The left side of the barrel has standard markings, and the top of the barrel and receiver have the Winchester factory oval proof at the breech. The upper tang has the three line model/trade mark information, and the lower tang has the serial number. It is fitted with a raised beaded blade Lyman front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with checkered hard rubber buttplate featuring the embossed Winchester logo.
