It has dovetailed blade and elevation adjustable sights on a barrel marked with the two-line address and "45-90 WCF," an upper tang marked "MODEL 1886," a lower tang marked with the two-line patent dates information and the serial number and a solid crescent buttplate. The barrel, magazine and bolt are blue, and the remaining surfaces are casehardened.
