Manufactured in 1935-1936. This scarce rifle has standard Winchester markings and factory oval proofs, beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sight and nicely figured straight grip stock with serrated steel buttplate. It comes with an original Model 55 factory cardboard box with no visible number showing. A family heirloom passed down from generation to generation within one family since its original purchase.
