Manufactured in 1994 and subsequently masterfully embellished by the famous engraver Alvin. A. White. White was a master engraver for Colt during the 1950s and is known as one of the greatest American engravers of his time. He was in semi-retirement by the time this revolver would have been engraved, taking on only special projects from time to time. The revolver shows over 25% coverage floral scroll with punch dot background, with the engraving filled with black/blue creating high contrast with the gold plating. This contrast is continued with the screw heads which are nitre blue. The engraving is signed "A.A.W." on the right of the front strap under the grip, and the grip is hand numbered to the gun.
