Colt Custom Shop Engraved Detective Special Double Action Revolver with Case

Manufactured in 1972. Featuring 60% coverage Factory floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background on the sides of the frame, cylinder between the flutes, sides and bottom of the barrel, and back strap. On the left side of the frame under the grip is marked "COLT ENG." Includes felt lined Colt Custom Shop case. Provenance: The Dr. Robert Azar Collection

ConditionExcellent, retaining 99% plus original high polish blue finish with some light handling marks. Replacement grips are fine with some light handling marks and a tiny chip on the top left. Case is very fine with some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
