Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, third style barrel inscription, "22 SHORT" on top barrel flat at the breech, Second Model receiver with hidden locking lugs, standard markings on the upper tangs, and matching numbers on the receiver and lower tang. Short 12 groove slide handle and smooth straight grip stock with casehardened crescent steel buttplate. The factory letter confirms the .22 short caliber as well as received in the warehouse on June 1, 1905, and shipped the next day.
