Rating Definition:

Exceptionally fine overall. The barrels retain 90% plus original finish with some age related storage marks and handling wear. The action retains 70% original casehardened finish, some areas faded with stronger colors in sheltered areas, and the toplever retains 90% original blued finish. The locks retain 97% strong original casehardened finish. Engraving is crisp throughout. The trigger guard shows handling wear with traces of finish remaining and slight softening to the engraving. The butt plate is a light grey patina with a patch of discoloration. The stock has an attractive figure with scattered age related storage and handling marks, bruises and small dents throughout. Checkering remains sharp. Mechanically excellent.
