Manufactured in 1963. Blued Special Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked "**-"/"**" (improved cylinder/modified), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The blued boxlock action features Grade I floral scroll engraving, initials "RNS" inscribed on the lower tang, a single gold trigger, and tang mounted safety/selector switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend and round knob pistol grip stock with Browning ventilated recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs.
Very good, the barrels retain 95% original blue finish and 40% original blue on the action, otherwise a smooth gray patina with scattered handling marks, and crisp engraving. Wood is fine with scattered dings and scratches, a hairline stress crack on the forearm right side, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
