The right side shows a pointer flushing a pair of quail along with a bust of John Browning and "BROWNING GOLD CLASSIC", the left side shows a pointer flushing a pair of pheasant over "086 OF FIVE HUNDRED", and the underside has a bust of a grouse all rendered in highly detailed gold. The engraving extends to the toplever, both tangs, and the trigger guard which shows a gold inlaid Browning logo. The right side of the action is signed "A. CROUSSE", and the left side is signed "JEAN H. DIET" for Engraver Andre Crousse and Master Engraver Jean H. Diet. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted safety selector switch with gold inlaid ""', "U", and "S". Beautifully figured, fancy floral multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with Browning buttplate. Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
