The barrels are marked "W. J. Jeffery & Co." and "13. KING STREET. St. JAMES'S. LONDON." on the left and right respectively. The blued boxlock action displays extensive scroll engraving surrounding "W. J. Jeffery & Co." banners on either side with scroll continuing onto the triggerguard and both tangs. The rifle features bushed firing pins, double triggers, and a tang mounted manual safety with gold inlaid "SAFE". Nicely figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings, including the rotary lever latch, and pistol grip stock with teardrop flats, engraved blue grip cap, blank inscription oval, and leather wrapped recoil pad.
