This is a four-piece takedown cleaning rod for a Henry lever action rifle. The wooden rod sections have iron fittings, and one end is shaped for use as a jag for use with cleaning patch. It measures 26 3/4 inches when assembled. Provenance: The Joe Marlin Hilliard Collection

Very good, the metal ferrules showing a mixed grey-brown patina with one showing slight separation at the seam. The wood is also very good with some scattered light handling marks. A hard to find accessory for the ever-desirable Henry rifle!
