The first must-see gun show of 2024 will be Rock Island Auction Company’s Feb. 16-18 Sporting & Collector Auction in Bedford, Texas, with more than 5,100 items on offer. Its diversity ranges from flintlock pistols and rifles to percussion guns to modern guns and Class III firearms. The auction will be the second event hosted at our Texas venue following our highly successful December Premier.
The wide-ranging roster of items include historic arms like Henry rifles, classic Winchester lever guns and Colt revolvers, rarities like the C.S. Pettengill double action army revolver and a Forehand & Wadsworth Old Model army revolver to World War 2 arms like the American M-1 Garand to the Soviet SVT-40, German Luger and Japanese Baby Nambu pistols.
Modern guns include a Thompson submachine gun, a Ruger Mini-14 and a Browning Citori 725 Pro Trap over/under shotgun. Class III items available in the auction include Uzis, a U.S. Guide Lamp M3 submachine gun with silencer and a Smith & Wesson Model 76 submachine gun.
