Forbes Covers The Will Primos Collection

By Joe Engesser

Share this post:

Author Chris Dorsey recently penned a fantastic article for Forbes on Will Primos and his unique five-shotgun collection that will be auctioned for conservation. The five-gun array, the only such hammer gun set every crafted by Purdey & Sons, including the first-ever 28 gauge hammer ejector and .410 hammer shotguns the company has ever made, will be offered at Rock Island Auction Company's December 5-7 Premier Firearms Auction.

All proceeds will be split among five of the nation's leading conservation organizations: Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Pheasants/Quail Forever. Each organization has partnered with Will Primos to launch "The Truth About Conservation," a public awareness campaign that will pull back the curtain on the critical need for wildlife habitat management and raise necessary funding for conservation.

This five-gun collection is consecutively numbered, including the .410 that was part of a limited production run of 10 guns. Purdey & Sons has said no more .410 shotguns will be made. More information about this one-of-a-kind set can be found here.
